Woodbury is a large master-planned community in north-east-central Irvine, Orange County, California. The total area of this community is around 1 square mile, consisting of densely arranged residential enclaves, community parks, a large central park and elementary school, and a shopping complex at the northeastern corner.

The boundaries of Woodbury in Irvine are as follows: Jeffrey Road (west), Irvine Boulevard (north), Sand Canyon Avenue (east), and Trabuco Road (south).
Woodbury has a number of neighboring communities also from The Irvine Company. To the northeast is
Stonegate and Stonegate East, to the southwest is
Cypress Village, and to the north and west are The Groves and
Northwood. Woodbury East is a separate community to the east between Sand Canyon Avenue and the Eastern Transportation Corridor Route 133.

The premier park in Woodbury is the centrally located Woodbury Community Park. This amazing facility encompasses a ball field, 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, a large play pad area, 3 separate pools, a commons area (great for picnics) and a Romanesque set of community buildings, home to the Woodbury Community Association. This entire facility is located adjacent to the highly renowned Woodbury Elementary School with its own excellent facilities.
Down a wide tree-lined street from the Woodbury Community Park and Community Association is the expansive Woodbury Town Center, a large shopping plaza with grocery stores, places to eat, banks, services, and LA Fitness, and more.
Education
Students in Woodbury are served by the Irvine Unified School District. Younger students attend the previously mentioned Woodbury Elementary School, while older students typically attend Sierra Vista Middle School and Irvine High School.
