Cypress Village is a masterfully planned community from the Irvine Company. Located north of the I-5, most of Cypress Village is west of Highway 133. A smaller neighborhood named Tristania is located on the east side of the highway. Irvine Spectrum Center is a short distance down the I-5, and is less than 10 minutes from Oak Creek Golf Club.

For post-secondary students, Irvine Valley College is a short distance away to the southwest, as is the University of California Irvine beyond that.

Jasmine Park in Cypress Village should not be confused with the small gated-community of the same name in Corona del Mar.
 
Each of the parks within Cypress Village has something to offer, whether it be a peaceful green and awning for picnics, or a palm-tree-lined pool for relaxing on hot summer days. Arbor Park is especially attractive for its greens, play areas, pool, and spa; and both Cypress Grove and Cypress Community Parks are excellent for their high-quality sporting facilities.
 

Avella Apartment Homes

One of the newer additions to Cypress Village is the Avella apartment community between Sand Canyon Avenue and Highway 133. This community features two pools, high-speed internet connections, and homes between 500 and 800 square feet in size. The homes themselves display exteriors inspired by Spanish-revival styles, with earthy stucco finishes and terracotta roof tiles.
