No matter the venue, the holiday cheer, and beautiful lights are always amazing, with people coming from all over to catch a glimpse of the festive lights strung on houses across Newport Harbor.
As many as 100 boats participate in the parade event, and awards are given to participating homes and businesses in various categories, like "Best Theme" and "Best Traditional Lights".
With the many different spots available for viewing the parade, in addition to the boardwalks lined with cheerful decorations, it’s no wonder that over a million people flock to the Christmas Boat Parade every year.
It's definitely one of coastal Orange County's premier annual events. And this festive event is also in support of the American Childhood Cancer Organization, so come on out to support a good cause.
